About the event

Do you feel frustrated, angry, anxious, stressed or depressed? Perhaps it’s time for you to try out Art Therapy. Artistic activities like drawing, painting and fashion designing can have significant therapeutic and healing effects and help you work through difficult emotions and past traumas. Art Therapy helps you express your true feelings without having to speak a single word. Clients will work with graphite pencils and watercolors as they are led through therapeutic drawings (Still Life, Figure Drawing, Perspectives, Manga, etc.).   Sessions will begin in May with continuous registration throughout the year. Dr. Lisa Tait, LPC, CPCS, serves as the Supervising Licensed Professional Counselor and the Resident Artist will instruct the art portion of the group sessions.
